Sabina Weitzman, Architect

While neither her upbringing in Miami Beach, Florida or her years living in large east coast cities should have led her to Fredericksburg, Virginia, Ms. Weitzman has grown to love the rich building traditions of her adopted home town.  The walkable, livable and inherently sustainable streets drew her in as soon as she arrived.  Ms. Weitzman's thinking about architecture is equally rooted in the 21st century.  Keenly aware of how buildings use / misuse resources, she collaborates with clients and builders to design right-sized, energy-efficient, comfortable homes.

Lineage Architects is an interdisciplinary team of architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, surveyors and landscape designers. We believe every design is enhanced by a team of people who approach each challenge from a different perspective. Much of our residential work utilizes a construction system known as insulated concrete form. This wall system reduces monthly utility bills and creates a resilient home capable of withstanding the strongest forces of nature.
